Designed after the USAID Yellow Book, AID Yellow Book, a USAID business forecast tool, includes additional data and program information to enhance a partner’s USAID business forecast, capture management and award management for potential partnering opportunities with prime awardees. The data (21 elements) in AID Yellow Book were determined based upon discussions with participants in Development Essentials courses regarding the need for a better USAID business forecast, business development tool and opportunities after award with prime awardees. While USAID’s business forecast looks forward three-to-nine months, AID Yellow Book tracks expiring awards five years out. AID Yellow Book includes active and most recent active awards to include stand alone, indefinite quantity contracts, task orders, purchase orders, blanket purchase agreements and GSA schedules awarded by USAID Washington and missions. The USAID business forecast data and information are validated for accuracy and updated weekly. AID Yellow Book also can be used as an award management tool by organizations searchable by awardee, country, sector and sorted by award date, expiration date or award amount.
